Airbnb has moved its service fee onto hosts: the whole fee is deducted from the host's payout, and for most hosts it is 15.5% of every booking. In Europe, independent hosts moved to this model from October 2026. When a stay costs hundreds or thousands of euros, every direct booking leaves you noticeably more.
You still shouldn't give up the platforms, because that is where new guests find you. Your own site is where returning guests, friends of past guests and people searching on Google come to book directly. Cabin Collection works alongside the platforms and reads their calendars.
The site is built around what someone looking for a cabin wants to know straight away: is it available, what will the stay cost, and what does the place feel like.
